At the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con International, director Zach Snyder announced the sequel to Man of Steel with a release date some time in 2015. Seeing as how Man of Steel grossed more than $635 million at the worldwide box office, it is no surprise that a sequel has been announced.
Wait, but that's not all. It was also revealed that a certain masked vigilante would share screen time with Superman. DC fans should be excited for the sequel to Man of Steel because the masked vigilante is Bruce Wayne / Batman!!
The superheroes however, are not joining forces to combat evil but instead are at odds. Henry Cavill, Amy Adams and Laurence Fishburne will reprise their roles in the sequel and there is no word as of yet on who will play Batman.
